Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains how OS Character handles information. The App is designed to function without collecting personal data or sending data to external servers.

2. Data We Collect

• No personal data is collected.
• The App does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporters, or social plugins.
• All character sheets, preferences, and calculations are processed and stored on your device.

3. How Your Data Is Used

Data you enter (e.g., character stats, inventory) is used only to provide App features like calculations, sorting, and display—entirely on-device and offline.

4. Third-Party Services

• No analytics and no ads.
• The App includes rules text from the Old-School Essentials System Reference Document (SRD) under the Open Game License v1.0a. This is content, not tracking.
• If you choose to export or back up data using your own tools (e.g., iCloud Drive, Files), those services’ policies apply.

5. Storage & Security

• Data is stored locally using Apple’s on-device storage mechanisms.
• Deleting the App removes local data. If you exported or backed up data yourself, those copies remain where you saved them.

6. Data Retention

We do not retain any personal data on our servers. Your device retains your data until you delete it or uninstall the App.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App does not collect personal data and does not target children with data collection. No profiles are created and no data is transmitted to us.

8. Do-Not-Track

Do-Not-Track is inherently respected: the App does not track you.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy for legal or product reasons. The latest version will always appear on this page, with the effective date updated above.
